Overview We are seeking dedicated and passionate animal lovers to join our team as a dog daycare attendant and pet concierge for luxury pet hotel. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for dogs, cats, and other small animals in our care. Your love for animals and commitment to their well-being will play a crucial role in ensuring that each pet receives the attention and care they deserve while their owners are away. Job Duties Supervise and interact with pets in a dog daycare and pet boarding setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Escort pets to and from their rooms and provide enriching activities. Assist with feeding, bathing, and administering medications. Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including dog areas, cat areas, and common spaces. Assist in the management of daily schedules for playtime, rest periods, snack & feeding times, enrichment activities, housekeeping and departures. Safely handle heavy lifting when moving supplies or assisting with larger breeds of dogs. Facilitate playgroups as needed, monitor behavior, and intervene when necessary to maintain a harmonious environment. Cue basic training commands and reinforce positive behaviors through effective communication and handling techniques. Provide excellent customer service when communicating with pet owners about their dogs' activities and behaviors during their stay. Dog Bathing and Other Spa Services Ideal Candidate Experience in dog handling and animal care is preferred. We offer an in-depth training program that allows candidates to acquire the skills required for the position. Proficiency in positive reinforcement handling techniques and experience in pet care are beneficial. Physically capable of performing heavy lifting and moving throughout a large facility. Genuine love for animals, with a commitment to providing exceptional care and ensuring their well-being. Enthusiastic about working with dogs, cats, and other small animals, contributing to their well being and happiness.
