Job Description:
As a Pet Loss Specialist at Peaceful Pets, you will play a crucial role in providing support and comfort to grieving pet parents. This position involves a combination of customer service, administrative tasks, and hands-on responsibilities to ensure the smooth and respectful handling of deceased pets.
Key Responsibilities:
Compassionate Customer Service:
Answer phone calls and emails from pet parents with empathy and compassion. Provide information about available services, pricing, and answer general inquiries. Schedule appointments for pet parents and maintain a helpful and supportive demeanor.
Coordination and Logistics:
Schedule drop-offs and pickups of deceased pets with sensitivity to pet parents' needs. Coordinate team lifts for larger or heavier animals, ensuring proper handling and care. Utilize pet tracking software to manage and monitor the movement of pets through the aftercare process.
Memorial Keepsakes:
Assist in creating personalized keepsakes for pet parents. Work with a variety of memorial products and ensure the timely delivery of custom orders. Collaborate with the team to offer unique and meaningful memorialization options.
Administrative Tasks:
Utilize CRM software to maintain accurate and confidential records of pet parent information. Place orders for necessary supplies and materials to support daily operations. Keep detailed records of all interactions and transactions for reporting purposes.
Technical Proficiency:
Be technologically adept, comfortable using computers and specialized software for tracking and communication. Learn and adapt to new technologies or software updates as needed. Maintain a
Clean Appearance:
Adhere to company standards for personal hygiene and cleanliness. Ensure workspaces and equipment are kept clean and organized.
