Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

Job Description
- A genuine love for animals and patience, particularly when dealing with shy, playful, stressed or anxious Dogs.
- Experience with, or a strong desire to learn, safe handling techniques for Dogs of various sizes and different behaviors.
- Ability to work outdoors in hot and cold temperatures, stand for long periods. Ability to lift more than 25 pounds.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, communicate with staff, and pay close attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as business needs Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain kennels, cages, and exercise runs daily. Wash food/water bowls, launder bedding, and ensure a sanitary environment.
- Provide food and fresh water according to specific, customized care plans.
- Walk, play with, and provide social interaction to ensure the emotional well-being of the animals.
- Clean common areas, wash laundry, and keep the facility stocked.
