Walk ATX is a local pet care company specializing in all things dog. We offer walks, day camp, boarding, pet sitting, baths, and training. We are on the hunt for a strong leader to take over as our new weekend manager. As our Weekend Manager you would: oversee all boarding and daycare services ensuring each service is completed to our standards, provide positive encouragement and guidance to the weekend team, make sure duties are being completed at our HQ where we provide daycare and boarding and overseeing minimal scheduling and appointments requests.

The ideal candidate:

Would have prior management experience (preferably a kennel, vet or other animal oriented environment) Would have prior animal care experience At least mildly tech savvy Great with dogs and solid knowledge of animal behavior, breeds, etc. Conflict resolution skills - client, staff, and dog Is looking for a long term career Clean background Relatively clean driving record (company cars) Has a positive, upbeat attitude Wonderful communication skills including conflict resolution Admirable work ethic Ready to spring into action (pet care is an unpredictable field) Organized by nature Willing to be out with the rest of the crew getting dirty with the dogs all while having fun
