Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling to meet breed standards and client preferences Handle animals with care and confidence, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process Utilize animal restraint techniques effectively to facilitate safe grooming sessions Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat styling with precision and attention to detail Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs, special instructions, and aftercare recommendations Assist with pet handling during check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a positive experience for pets and owners Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to health and safety standards at all times Requirements Proven experience as a professional groomer with a strong portfolio of pet styling work Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is highly desirable Background in veterinary technician or veterinary assistant roles is a plus Familiarity with animal handling, animal restraint, and pet care best practices across various species including dogs and horses Ability to lift heavy loads safely for heavy lifting tasks related to equipment or large animals Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members effectively Prior kennel experience or pet sitting background is advantageous Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude towards animals and clients Embark on a rewarding career where your grooming talents make a real difference!
