Since 2011, we have provided dependable, loving care and peace of mind to local pet parents. We are currently looking for trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable part-time pet sitters and dog walkers who will care for our clients' pets as if they were their own. What You'll Do Visit clients' homes to provide dog walking, potty breaks, pet sitting, feeding, playtime, and lots of love and attention Safely walk dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and energy levels Provide exercise and mental stimulation during each visit Follow each client's detailed pet-care instructions Monitor pets' behavior and well-being and report any concerns Use our mobile app to send clients photos, videos, and updates after each visit Clean up after pets and leave clients' homes secure and tidy Communicate professionally and warmly with clients and the Top Dog office team What We're Looking For Must be at least 18 years old due to insurance and bonding requirements Must live in or within approximately 10 miles of our hiring areas, including ZIP codes 76126, 76116, 76110, 76104, or 76102 Must be available between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday , when dog walking is most needed Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance Must be willing and able to drive to clients' homes throughout the service area Must be comfortable caring for and handling dogs of different sizes and strength levels Must be physically capable of walking dogs and working outdoors in reasonable rain, heat, and cold Must be able to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively Must pass a background check and complete required training Must be available year-round and commit to at least 12 months of employment Previous hands-on experience with animals is preferred Most importantly, you must genuinely adore animals!
