About us Our mission is to preserve all animals by building awareness through contact and education in partnership with our animal ambassadors. Contact cultivates caring, which encourages conservation. You will be working around a variety of exotic animals, both small and large. Will train, but any animal experience is a plus. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, pay is commensurate with experience. Benefits available are Health insurance & 401K plan. Tasks can include (but are not limited to): Clean and sanitize enclosures and animal areas Animal grooming and basic health care Prepare diets, feed and water animals Maintain facility tools and equipment Routine animal handling Interaction with guests during experiences Use the tools of animal observation, enrichment, training and other management methods to ensure the best well-being of the animals in our care Use strong interpersonal skills to form and maintain positive relationships within the work environment and during public experiences Must be physically fit and able to work outside year round. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Weekends required.
