Revolving around the care and upkeep for our patients and the facilities that house them, you will be a key member of a health care team. There is support and oversight but you must be able to work independently, efficiently and safely. Physical labor and effort are involved. Specifically, you will feed, water and clean up after both large and small animals housed at our clinic. Included will be cleaning and general upkeep of the indoor facilities and equipment and you will be responsible for the grounds and facility maintenance. Included are moving hay, using heavy equipment, fence repair, mowing, cleaning, while maintaining the equipment used for those duties. A background in farm/ranch work, general mechanical ability, and livestock care/handling will be important in this position.
