WEEKENDS AND ALL HOLIDAYS ARE MANDATORY. WE DO HAVE BLACK OUT DATES OVER ALL MAJOR HOLIDAYS, INCLUDING MEMORIAL DAY, 4TH OF JULY, LABOR DAY, THANKSGIVING WEEK, CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS WEEK
- Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- feeding and caring for our guests
- monitoring our guests with great attention to detail
- cleaning the facility to keep it in excellent shape
- handling dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, temperaments and ages
- availability to work holidays and weekends as we are here to take care of our friends for our clients
- conducting tours of the facility with a professional and enthusiastic manner
- providing excellent customer service to returning and new clients!
- Potential to gain more responsibility as a Supervisor with training and experience
- Part Time is 30 hours and less

Pet Care Supervisor, Boarding Manager The Pet Care Technician is responsible for maintaining the health of the boarding guests (pets) by ensuring that owner's instructions are followed as well as company protocols. The Pet Care Technician is also responsible for ensuring that all animals are safe at all times, keeping in mind that they are caring for someone else's family member. Ensuring the safety of their fellow staff members as well as that of clients are other responsibilities of the Pet Care Tech.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent Previous on-the-job training desirable, but not requiredEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Previous animal care background is desirable, but not requiredPERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 18 years old. Exceptions may be made for candidates at management's discretion. Genuinely enjoys working with animals and is able to deal with them even when stressed, ill or in pain. Can stay calm and efficient during a crisis. Is well-spoken and approaches his/her job duties with maturity Can support and be a part of a team; works well with all levels of facility team members. Can work independently with minimal supervision. Has excellent client communication skills Exercises strict adherence to the work schedule and must be available to work days, nights, weekends, major holidays and extended hours as needed.Physical Effort :
Work requires lifting, carrying and restraining animals (will be assisted by other staff members in lifting animals over 50 lbs). Walks or stands for extended periods of time; frequently works in a bent or squatting position. Ability to walk and control dogs on leash. Ability to use a ladder and/or step stool. Working conditions : May be exposed to unpleasant odors from vomit and feces. May be exposed to animal urine, as well as repetitive loud noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches and contagious diseases.PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Direct Animal Care and Knowledge Provides compassionate care to all pets in the facility Able to work with all sizes, breeds and temperaments of dogs and cats Follows protocol in Boarding Protocols Binder Provides proper documentation of each pet's daily routine throughout the stay and tracks each pet's belongings throughout the stay- Responds calmly and in a timely manner to the following: barking, whining, pet body language, and all pet messes.
