In this energetic role, you will provide top-quality grooming services while ensuring each pet's safety and comfort. Your expertise will help pet owners feel confident that their beloved companions are in caring hands, and your positive attitude will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Perform pet coat styling, including bathing, trimming, clipping, and finishing touches to meet breed standards or owner preferences Handle dogs with care and confidence, utilizing animal restraint techniques to ensure safety during grooming procedures Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, brushing, and other grooming tasks with precision and compassion Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming requests and provide advice on pet coat maintenance Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, adhering to sanitation protocols for animal care environments Assist with animal handling during grooming appointments, ensuring proper animal restraint and comfort at all times Support kennel cleaning, pet sitting, and other animal care duties as needed to ensure a safe environment for all pets Qualifications Demonstrated experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and pet nail trimming Knowledge of dog handling techniques and animal restraint methods for safe grooming practices Background in veterinary technician/assistant roles is highly desirable Strong communication skills to engage with pet owners confidently and professionally Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or large animals Prior kennel experience or pet sitting background is advantageous Commitment to animal care standards and customer service excellence Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a difference!
