Overnight Pet Sitter M & N Pet/Home Services Mesquite, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time $50 - $65 a day 1 hour ago Benefits Paid training On-the-job training Flexible schedule Qualifications Driver's License Dog handling Full Job Description M & N Pet/Home Services is seeking a reliable, trustworthy and compassionate Overnight Pet Sitter to provide exceptional overnight care for clients pets in their homes. This position is ideal for someone looking to earn extra income while enjoying a quiet overnight work environment. We are looking for dependable individuals who genuinely love animals and understand the importance of maintaining a client's home with professionalism and respect.
Schedule:
Overnight shifts: 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM Flexible scheduling based on client bookings Weekdays, weekends and holidays will be required
Responsibilities:
Stay overnight in clients homes while caring for their pets. Feed pets according to provided instructions. Administer medications if trained and instructed. Provide potty breaks and/or walks as needed. Refill food and water bowls. Clean litter boxes and pick up pet waste. Monitor pets for signs of illness, injury or unusual behavior. Provide companionship, playtime and affection. Maintain a clean and respectful environment within the client's home. Complete light household tasks when requested, such as: Bringing in mail and packages Taking trash to the curb Watering plants Rotating lights Send photo and text updates to clients as required. Report emergencies or concerns immediately.
Qualifications:
Must be 40 years of age or older. Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license. Comfortable caring for dogs, cats and other household pets. Ability to follow detailed care instructions. Excellent communication skills. Must pass a background check. Dependable, punctual and professional. Comfortable working independently.
Preferred Experience:
Previous pet sitting, veterinary, kennel or animal care experience is preferred but not required. Experience administering medications is a plus.
