Dog Care Attendant/ Kennel Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care for dogs in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and happiness of our furry guests while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, potty breaks, grooming, and general care for dogs Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas by performing regular cleaning tasks. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to Kennel Master. Communicate with dog trainers and work as a team to accomplish daily Handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort during their stay. Document completion of daily and weekly task. Qualifications No previous experience is required, just a desire to learn and a good work ethic! Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with animal care. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential. Must NOT be afraid of dogs. Please note that some dogs at Proven K9 Training may pose a bite risk!
