Duties Perform pet grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and pet coat maintenance with precision and care Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques, ensuring comfort and security during grooming procedures Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other grooming tasks to promote pet health and hygiene Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide pet care advice Assist with animal handling during grooming sessions, ensuring safe interaction between pets and staff Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Support kennel cleaning, pet sitting, and heavy lifting tasks as needed to ensure a clean and safe environment for all animals Experience Prior experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or animal care is highly preferred Knowledge of veterinary procedures or veterinary technician experience is a strong plus Background in veterinary assistant roles or animal restraint techniques enhances your ability to manage diverse pets confidently Familiarity with dog training, equine experience, or kennel operations demonstrates versatility in animal handling Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members effectively Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy animals or equipment Previous experience in customer service roles related to pet care is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible difference in pets' lives!
