Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced Kennel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kennel facility. This leadership role involves managing staff, ensuring the well-being of animals, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and management, demonstrating excellent organizational and leadership skills to ensure the highest standards of service and animal welfare. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily kennel operations, including feeding, cleaning, and administering medications to animals. Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance to ensure a cohesive team dedicated to animal care. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, identifying any issues and coordinating veterinary care as needed. Maintain accurate records of animal intake, adoption, medical history, and other relevant documentation. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations to create a secure environment for staff, animals, and visitors. Manage inventory of supplies such as food, medications, cleaning products, and equipment. Foster positive relationships with pet owners, providing updates on their animals' well-being and addressing concerns professionally. Implement policies that promote animal welfare and operational efficiency within the kennel facility. Experience Proven experience in kennel management or a similar role involving animal care supervision. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Knowledge of animal health issues, basic veterinary procedures, and safety standards. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and operational tasks. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Pay:
$17.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
