Job Description

Clip-N-Dip Grooming is a small business in Temple, TX. Our goal is to provide safe, loving, quality grooming services for the pets in our care. We have been in business over 18 years and have a loyal and growing client base. We are looking to grow our team with an experienced groomer who knows that grooming is a fast-paced, physically demanding, often times dirty and challenging, but also fun and rewarding, tail wagging, so happy to see you, lots of love career field. The ideal candidate will possess an incredible amount of patience and a deep love for animals, as well as a minimum of 1 year experience as a professional dog groomer working in a salon, mobile grooming environment, or vet clinic.
Responsibilities:
Perform full-service professional grooming (bathing, drying, brushing, nail and ear care, external anal gland expression, trimming/styling, scissor finish) Groom to breed standard or pet parent preference Use gentle handling techniques and positive reinforcement Monitor pets for signs of stress or health concerns and communicate with management and pet parents Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships Educate pet parents on grooming maintenance and recommended products/services Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary salon environment Assist with scheduling appointments and answering phones/texts as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of professional dog grooming experience (2+ years preferred) Knowledge of breed-specific trims, coat types, and grooming techniques Willing to complete up to 3 breed-specific grooming technicals Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and positive attitude Excellent communication skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift dogs up to 50 lbs Must be 18+ , have reliable transportation, and be available weekends and some holidays
Pay & Benefits:
