Job Summary Join our team as a Kennel Attendant and become a vital part of providing exceptional care for animals in our pet care facility. In this energetic role, you will ensure the well-being, cleanliness, and safety of the animals while delivering outstanding customer service to pet owners. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. Responsibilities Provide attentive animal handling and care, including feeding, watering, exercising, and monitoring health status. Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through regular sanitization and grooming. Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, and outdoor activities to ensure animals are engaged and comfortable. Handle animal restraint safely during cleaning, feeding, or anything else to ensuring their safety. Ensure proper use of team lifting techniques when moving heavy supplies or animals to prevent injury. Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners and co-workers about pets' needs and well-being. Experience Previous experience working with animals in a kennel, grooming, or pet boarding facility is highly preferred. Knowledge of animal behavior, handling techniques, and pet grooming is advantageous. Experience in veterinary technician or animal Nutritionist roles adds valuable insight into animal health monitoring. Familiarity with cleaning protocols and sanitization procedures for pet care facilities is beneficial. Outdoor work experience helps in managing pets during outdoor activities or yard duties. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and team members. Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 45.0 per week
