Responsibilities Safely handle and restrain animals during bathing, grooming, and coat styling procedures Perform pet bathing, drying, brushing, and trimming, with attention to detail Assist with pet nail trimming and ear cleaning to promote pet health and comfort Communicate effectively with pet owners and co-workers about grooming needs and after-care instructions Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitation of tools and workspaces Lift heavy equipment or pets safely to ensure smooth grooming sessions and prevent injury Experience Previous experience in pet grooming or animal handling preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus Familiarity with equine or kennel experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members effectively Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily tasks Passion for animal care combined with excellent customer service skills ensures a positive environment for pets and clients Your skills, ideas, and heart make a difference here!
