Job Description

Old Farm Pet Resort is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team! If you love animals, don't mind getting your hands dirty, and take pride in providing excellent care, we'd love to meet you! What You'll DoAs a Kennel Technician, you'll play an important role in making sure every dog at Old Farm Pet Resort is safe, happy, healthy, and well cared for. Your responsibilities will include
  • Feed and provide fresh water for boarding and daycare dogs
  • Provide attentive care throughout each dog's stay
  • Clean and sanitize kennels, play yards, bathrooms, and common areas
  • Perform regular potty breaks and yard rotations
  • Assist with exercise, play, and enrichment activities
  • Monitor dogs for changes in behavior, appetite, energy, or health
  • Report injuries, illnesses, behavioral concerns, or safety issues immediately
  • Safely handle dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming facility
  • Follow all Old Farm Pet Resort safety and animal-care procedures
  • Complete daily cleaning and care checklists
  • Assist with boarding dog routines and special care instructions
  • Work as part of a team to provide exceptional customer and animal care
  • Help create a positive, fun, and enriching environment for the dogs in our care . We're looking for someone who is
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Hardworking and motivated
  • Comfortable working on their feet throughout the day
  • Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
  • A strong communicator and team player
  • Patient, attentive, and compassionate with animals
  • Able to follow instructions and established safety procedures
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to clean, sanitize, bend, lift, walk, and get dirty! Previous animal-care kennel, daycare, or grooming experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person. What We Offer
