Job Description

We are looking for a Pet Care Supervisor at Wakefield Kennel. Enjoy caring for our vacationing dogs while their human families are away from home. We are seeking energetic pet lovers that are comfortable working within a fast-paced team environment. Pet Care Supervisors ensure that positive relationships are developed and maintained with our canine guests and their owners and provide the critical face-to-face interaction with our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Wakefield Kennel is a high volume dog boarding center, with the opportunity to care for many dogs on a daily basis. Responsibilities will include cleaning kennels, feeding, giving medications, exercising dogs, bathing, and monitoring the health status of the dogs. Candidates for this position must be able to care for a large volume of dogs in a busy environment and act as a team player. Pet Care Supervisor will take care of all arrival and departure procedures for our guests, meet and greet our customers in a friendly and professional manner, have the ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of phone calls in a fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Flexible schedule — We are on duty 7 days a week so a flexible schedule must include weekdays, weekends, and major holidays. Comfortable with dogs — Our work is very physical in nature and will require handling a variety of active dogs as well as walking, standing, and lifting 40+ lb. Strong communication skills Team player attitude
