Job Description

Here at Forest Pet care we provide enhanced pet care and genuine customer service. We treat our clients animals like our own. All animals and clients at our facility are treated with respect and love. Daily duties as a kennel attendant are not limited to but include cleaning, feeding, administering medications, bathing, exercising, and playing/performing enrichment activities with animals. Working reception shift requires you to be fully trained as kennel attendant first. Daily duties in reception are not limited to but include client communication, making daycare and boarding reservations, care for the little dogs up front, completing paperwork, and checking dogs in and out for boarding and daycare. Shifts on weekdays are 6am-12pm, 6am-2pm, 12pm-8pm, and 2pm-8pm. Saturday shifts are from 7am-12pm and 2pm-7pm. Sunday shifts are 7am-12pm and 3pm-7pm.

Animal Education & Position Requirements:
You MUST be available for a variety of AM and PM shifts. (Mainly needing pm availbility.) You are required to be available 2 weekends a month, which includes being on call. All employees are expected to work the majority of holidays. You must be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. You MUST love animals. You MUST be a team player. You MUST be able to work efficiently in a fast pace environment. You MUST be detailed orientated. You MUST be reliable. You MUST have reliable transportation. Animal experience is preferred but not required. Medication Administration Experience is preferred but not required. (Injections or Oral Medications)
