Full Job Description Dog Daycare Attendant Responsibilities:
Supervise dogs of all different sizes and energy levels at play Monitor dog behavior and respond quickly to maintain safety and control of play groups. Feed and care for dogs throughout the day. This includes administration of medications. Clean up dog poop, urine and vomit. Walk dogs as needed, as well as other client add-ons. Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, common spaces, bathrooms, grooming room and lobby. Report health or behavior issues to management. Greet and assist clients with any check ins and check outs as needed. Support the team in maintaining standards and safety rules. Other duties as necessary. Requirements High school degree or GED is preferred. 18 or older. Prior experience in a dog daycare/boarding facility is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Spend most of the day on your feet, both with dogs and maintaining the cleanliness standards of the business. Ability to lift up to 40-50 pounds on a regular basis. Must love dogs and be comfortable working with groups of dogs at the same time. Ability to learn quickly and adapt as necessary, coachable. Reliable and punctual, as well as flexibility in scheduling. This includes the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed. Willingness to maintain company standards and rules. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
