Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pet Bather/ grooming assistant to join our team. We hope to find the right candidate to teach and develop into a pet stylist over time. If you have a passion for animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you.
Responsibilities:
  • Bathe and prep pets according to specific breed standards or customer preferences
  • Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during bathing procedures
  • Assist groomers with prepping pets for grooming sessions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bathing areas and equipment
  • Provide basic care such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and brushing
  • Monitor pet's health and behavior during bathing process
Experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of animal care techniques and best practices
  • Experience working with various animal breeds and temperaments
  • Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively
  • Familiarity with veterinary practices or kennel environments is a plus
  • Ability to handle animals with care and patience
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
