This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills in a lively environment dedicated to animal well-being and customer satisfaction. 50/50 commission plus tips Duties Perform pet grooming services including bathing, hair trimming, pet coat styling, nail trimming, and ear cleaning with precision and care Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety during grooming procedures Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences, provide updates, and offer pet care advice Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Recognize signs of veterinary concerns or health issues during grooming and refer to veterinary professionals when necessary Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming, at least 1 year shop experience Knowledge of procedures related to animal restraint, health monitoring, and coat styling techniques Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members effectively Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for larger animals or equipment handling Customer service skills that foster positive relationships with clients and ensure a welcoming environment A genuine love for animals combined with a proactive attitude toward pet safety and well-being
