An Animal Care Worker or Manager manages animal care and grooming for a retail store that sells pets or for a pet grooming business. May also provide animal care and grooming at a kennel. Works with animals in shelters or rescue organizations. Works primarily with dogs and cats. Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

Job Description
Job Details:
- Must have at least 1 year full time dog grooming experience.
- Cat grooming experience is a plus but not required.
- We value quality over quantity. We maintain a calm and relaxed atmosphere with one-on-one grooming.
- The position is full time, we work Mon Tues Thurs Fri, every other Saturday, and one Wednesday per month for cats and rabbits.
- This is a W-2 commission based position, $13/hr guarenteed minimum but you'll surpass that easily. You also keep all tips.
- Vacation available after 1 year, we pay for tool sharpening.
- We provide Pet First Aid and CPR certifications and
AKC S.A.F.E.
groomer certifications for all employees, and help with continued education.- Consumable supplies (cotton balls, wipes, ear cleaner, ear powder, cleaning products, etc.) provided, you bring your tools. We have tub, table, and dryer ready for you!
