We are currently hiring:

Full-Time and Part-Time Professional Dog Groomers Full-Time Dog Bathers We are looking for dependable, compassionate team members who take pride in providing safe, high-quality care and helping every dog look and feel their best. Professional Dog Groomer Responsibilities Perform breed-standard and client-requested haircuts Provide bathing, brushing, de-shedding, nail trimming and other grooming services Evaluate each dog's coat and skin condition Identify matting or other concerns before beginning services Handle dogs safely, patiently and compassionately Maintain clear and accurate grooming notes Communicate service changes or concerns to management Clean and sanitize grooming tools, equipment and work areas Work efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards Dog Bather Responsibilities Bathe and rinse dogs thoroughly Dry dogs safely using appropriate drying methods Brush coats and assist with de-shedding services Perform nail trims and ear cleaning when trained Prepare dogs for the professional groomers Monitor dogs for stress, discomfort or health concerns Clean kennels, tubs, equipment and grooming areas Assist the grooming team with laundry, supplies and daily organization What We're Looking For A genuine love for dogs and commitment to their safety Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic Patience and confidence handling dogs of different sizes, breeds and temperaments Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Willingness to clean and maintain an organized work environment Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift or assist with dogs Professional grooming experience is required for groomer applicants Dog-handling, bathing or pet-care experience is preferred for bather applicants Bather applicants must be willing to learn and follow Port Rover's grooming and safety procedures Scheduling Requirements Full-time and part-time grooming positions are available. The bather position is currently full-time. Applicants must be available to work rotating weekend shifts with the rest of the grooming team.
