Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. Training to start August 3rd, 2026. In this role, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of animals in our facility. You will work closely with dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring they receive proper attention, exercise, and care. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about animal welfare and have experience in handling and caring for pets. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, bathing and exercising dogs. Maintain cleanliness of kennel areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all animals. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff. Handle animals safely using appropriate restraint techniques when necessary. Support veterinary staff with basic tasks related to animal care and treatment. Engage with pet owners and provide excellent customer service regarding their pets' needs. Participate in heavy lifting tasks related to animal care, including moving supplies and equipment. Skills

MUST HAVE EXPERINCE WORKING IN A KENNEL ENVIRONMENT IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK EVENINGS, ROTATING WEEKENDS AND ROTATING HOLIDAYS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.

Experience in dog handling is

REQUIRED.

Strong animal handling skills with an understanding of animal behavior. Ability to provide animal restraint safely when required. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners. Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as part of daily responsibilities.
