We're seeking caring, dependable, and motivated Pet Sitters to join our team as self-employed 1099 contractors in the West End Richmond, University of Richmond, Short Pump, Manakin Sabot and surrounding areas. If you love animals, enjoy flexible work, and want to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Responsibilities Visit clients' homes to care for pets (dogs, cats, and small animals) Walk dogs, play with pets, feed, refresh water, and clean up after them Provide overnight or vacation care when needed Communicate with pet owners about routines, updates, and any concerns Maintain a clean, safe environment in clients' homes Handle pets safely using proper techniques and equipment (leashes, harnesses, etc.) Provide reliable, friendly service that builds trust and long-term relationships Requirements Love of animals and experience handling dogs and cats Own a reliable vehicle that is always available and an identified, dependable backup plan in case of emergencies. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable Comfortable working a flexible schedule (morning, midday, evening, or overnight) Availability for Thanksgiving weekend and/or Christmas Eve & Day Availability at least two weekends a month Availability for overnights a plus Must live in or adjacent to zip codes 23229, 23238, 23294, 23233 Minimum age: 18 years Schedule Flexible — number of visits and hours vary by client needs.
