Compensation:

50% commission on all grooming services performed. This is a commission-based position; displayed hourly compensation is an estimated earning range based on commission. Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet our clients' expectations. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle various breeds and temperaments of animals. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, providing recommendations for grooming treatments as necessary. Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions through proper animal handling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, tools, and equipment. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and any concerns observed during grooming. Provide excellent customer service to build lasting relationships with clients. Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to enhance service offerings. Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary technician or animal handling is preferred. Strong skills in pet care, animal restraint, dog training, and customer service. Ability to handle various breeds of dogs and cats with different temperaments safely. Knowledge of basic veterinary care is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners effectively. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
