You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our canine companions while providing a warm and welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. Your passion for animals and commitment to exceptional service will shine through as you pamper dogs of all breeds and sizes. Requirements You must be 18 years old. What you'll do Gently bathe, dry, and groom dogs according to their specific needs and breed standards. Ensure the safety and comfort of each dog during grooming sessions by employing proper handling techniques. Maintain cleanliness in the bathing area, including washing tools and equipment after use. Monitor dogs for any signs of skin issues or health concerns, reporting findings to the groomers as necessary. Assist with animal restraint during grooming procedures to ensure a safe experience for both pets and staff. Support kennel operations by helping with dog handling, feeding, and general care when needed. Collaborate with fellow team members to create a positive environment that fosters teamwork and enthusiasm. Experience Previous experience in dog bathing or grooming is preferred but not required; we are happy to train enthusiastic candidates! Familiarity with animal handling techniques, including restraint methods, is essential for this role. Ability to lift heavy dogs safely is required, along with physical stamina for standing during long shifts. Knowledge of pet care practices, including basic grooming techniques and breed-specific needs, will set you apart. Any experience in equine care or kennel operations will be considered an asset.
