Your dedication to animal care and handling will help ensure each dog's safety, happiness, and well-being during their daily outings. Responsibilities Lead energetic and safe walks for dogs of various breeds and temperaments, ensuring proper pet exercise and outdoor activity. Handle animals with care using animal restraint techniques to maintain safety for both pets and yourself. Monitor dog behavior during walks, recognizing signs of stress or discomfort and responding appropriately. Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' activities, behaviors, and any concerns that arise during walks. Assist with pet care tasks such as feeding, grooming, or administering medication if needed (training provided). Maintain cleanliness of equipment and walking areas to promote a hygienic environment. Support pet sitting or overnight in-home care assignments when required, ensuring animals are comfortable and secure. Requirements Prior experience in dog handling, animal care, or pet sitting is highly preferred. Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior is a plus. Experience working outdoors or in active environments is beneficial. Ability to lift heavy objects such as pet supplies or equipment safely. Strong communication skills to interact confidently with pet owners and team members. Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for animals and their well-being.
