Job Description
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Supervising and engaging with dogs in playgroups, ensuring safe interactions. Monitoring dog behavior and addressing any issues that arise. Cleaning and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment (yes, this includes handling urine, feces, and vomit). Communicating effectively with team members and with dog owners. Being an active part of the Positive Pooches team, whether working independently or collaborating with others. Assisting in our Extraordinary Enrichment daycare program. Each week is a different theme and activity. What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who's ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into the rewarding world of dog daycare. To thrive in this role, you should: Be comfortable lifting up to 45 lbs, twisting, and standing for extended periods. Have no fear of handling the less glamorous side of pet care (urine, feces, vomit—it's all part of the job!). Be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Bring a positive attitude and a genuine love for dogs. Able to work mornings, Monday-Thursday - We start at 6am here! 20-30 hours a week. Interest in dog behavior and dog training. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn and grow with us!
