Duties Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and administering medications as needed Maintain clean and sanitized kennels, cages, and common areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment Monitor animal behavior for signs of stress or illness, reporting concerns promptly to supervisors Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, and outdoor exercise activities to promote physical activity and mental stimulation Perform cleaning duties such as sanitation of equipment, bedding, and facility areas to uphold hygiene standards Skills Demonstrating responsibility with dogs of various temperaments Dog knowledge for managing behavior and ensuring proper handling techniques Kennel experience coupled with animal handling skills to ensure safe interactions with diverse breeds and sizes preferred, but not required Physical stamina for outdoor work environments Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and visitor Experience in animal care focusing on sanitization protocols and safety procedures Passion for animal welfare combined with outdoor work experience that fosters patience and resilience This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a positive impact on animals' lives while developing professional expertise in the pet care industry.
