EXPERIENCE PREFERED, IF YOU HAVE COMMON SENSE AND WORK HARD I CAN TEACH YOU WHAT TO DO. SITTING AND PETTING DOGS ALL DAY IS NOT THIS JOB - THIS JOB IS THE HARD CLEANING AND CARETAKING OF THE DOGS AND CATS AND IT IS VERY PHYSICALLY DEMANDING. WE REWARD HARD WORKERS WITH MORE PAY.
Starting pay is $19.00 per hour. For the first 90 days you will work every weekend to train the best. As soon as you show you can do more work, your pay goes up.
HIRING TWO POSITIONS
FIRST
IS FOR MONDAY-THURSDAY
working four ten hour shifts, and working one weekend per month mandatory, you will have the same weekend to cover every single month - either the second, third, or last weekend of the month. Every holiday that falls on your days you are to cover as this is a holiday oriented business. SECOND is for
FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY
with the first weekend off each month. Shift is 6:30 am - 5:30 pm with a 1-2 hour lunch every day. Every holiday that falls on your scheduled days you are to cover as this is a holiday oriented business. Country Kennels is a boarding and daycare facility for dogs and cats. This business specializes in a high level of customer service to pets and their owners. This job is physically demanding and is not a leisurely job. You will work outside in all weather, all seasons as well as inside in air conditioned buildings.
Kennel Assistant:
This person is responsible for cleaning kennels as a mess is seen, handling of dogs for boarding and daycare, handling of cats for boarding. Feeding & watering daily, interacting with animals in such a way as to ensure their comfort, safety and happiness. Cleaning duties, repair duties as assigned, may vary. Responsible for learning and proficiently operating kennel software, checking customers in and out for pick up and drop off. Must be able to lift 100 pounds. Standing, stooping, strong arms and hand strength for dogs pulling on leases, good balance for dogs jumping on you, must be able to walk and stand for long periods on concrete and pasture grass. Must be able to bend and do repetitive motions. Critical thinking, ability to prioritize tasks and meet dogs needs are top priority. High customer service personality is a must. Personal appearance and hygiene is a must. Common sense, multitasking and problem solving are essential. Pay starts low and goes up as soon as you prove you can do more. Must be 18.
