Weeknight Dog Wash Attendant The Soggy Doggy - 5.0 Normandy Park, WA Job Details Part-time From $17.13 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Employee discount Qualifications Nail care In-person customer service Dog handling Cleaning Teaching Retail sales Full Job Description The Soggy Doggy is hiring a part time position Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm at our Normandy Park store. The position will range in hours between 15 and 23 hours per week depending upon performance and availability. The job consists of teaching customers how to bathe and groom their dog, a significant amount of cleaning as well as nail trimming (requires patience, grip strength and good vision) and sales. Dog wash attendants must be able to lift 40+ lbs, be able to stand and walk the entire shift, have excellent customer service/communication skills and be a stickler for cleanliness. Retail sales are also a large portion of the job. Dog grooming, nail trimming and gland expression experience is a plus. Attendants must be capable of working both in a team and independently. A cover letter is required and should include information that sets you apart from other candidates. Compensation for this position is $17.13 per hour DOE. Tips are a large portion of this job and can increase your hourly wage by as much as $7 an hour. Soggy Doggy Hours of operation are 10-8 Monday, Thursday and Friday as well as 10-6 on Saturday and Sunday. The Soggy Doggy is closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
