Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Child and Pet Care Service Provider, where your passion for caring for children and animals will make a meaningful difference in families' lives. This role offers flexible hours perfect for individuals who enjoy engaging with children and animals, providing safe, nurturing, and responsible care. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine love for animals and children. Childcare and pet care is on call and a message will be sent to employee to decline or accept the position. Childcare is a minimum of 4 hours a shift and pet care is a minimum of 30 minutes per shift. You choose the day, time and hours that you want to work. Reliable and responsible people are encouraged to apply. Duties Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Provide attentive pet care including feeding, walking, administer medication. Maintain cleanliness of pet areas, kennels, and play spaces while adhering to hygiene standards Support pet sitting duties by monitoring animals' health and behavior, reporting any concerns promptly. Mothers helper role includes tidy and organize areas, help with laundry, dishes and assistance to parents with all child and home related tasks. Experience Prior experience working with children in childcare settings or similar environments is preferred Hands-on veterinary experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly valued Dog walking skills. Kennel experience or pet sitting background demonstrating responsibility for animal welfare Customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and families Knowledge of pet grooming practices and animal care routines is a plus Join us to provide compassionate, energetic care that enriches the lives of children and animals alike!
