Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pet services in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dogs and possess the skills necessary to ensure their well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to animal care, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks related to pet health and safety. Tips + hourly make this a great paying job with benefits. Duties High volume environment. Preform dog nail trim and grind, ear cleaning, glands at our Maymoor Dog Park location in Redmond, WA or Magnuson Park Location in Seattle. Maintain cleanliness in dog park based vans and grooming salon, ensuring a hygienic environment for all animals. Support pet owners with information on proper pet care and handling techniques. Handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments with confidence and care. Perform light administrative tasks related to pet care records as required. Participate in training sessions for new staff on animal handling and care procedures. Keep the vans and grooming salon sparkling clean and fresh. Requirements Experience as a groomer, bather in a fast paced salon, or working as a veterinary technician is preferred. Proficient at nail trim and grind for dogs is a must, this is the core of our business at the dog park based locations. Knowledge of animal safety techniques and general dog care practices is essential. Ability to lift heavy dogs or equipment safely as needed. Familiarity with grooming salon operations or veterinary environments is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members. A genuine love for dogs and commitment to their welfare is crucial. Flexibility in scheduling, including availability on weekends.
