Coordinate enrichment activities, playgroups, and training sessions to promote healthy socialization and mental stimulation for the dogs. Monitor dog behavior continuously to identify signs of stress or discomfort; implement appropriate animal restraint or handling techniques as needed. Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of the facility, including kennels, play areas, grooming stations, and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs, behaviors, and health concerns; address questions or concerns promptly and professionally. Assist with pet boarding and pet sitting services when required, ensuring all animals receive personalized care during their stay. Requirements Proven experience in dog care settings, veterinary technician roles, kennel work, or animal handling environments. Strong background in pet sitting, pet grooming, dog training, or animal behavior management. Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet care facility sanitization practices. Ability to lift heavy objects safely through team lifting techniques; physically capable of outdoor work and active engagement with dogs. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward clients and their pets. Familiarity with animal behavior cues to ensure safe handling and prevent conflicts among dogs.
