We will contact applicants via Indeed to schedule interviews. Small boarding and doggie daycare facility is looking to add the right person to our team! Candidate must have great customer service skills, attention to detail, strong work ethic, be punctual, reliable, and possess a great love for dogs and their emotional and physical well-being and have mad cleaning skills. General knowledge of dog breeds, behaviors, body language, emotional and physical health needed. Don't have to know it all, but should have a general knowledge about dogs and their needs. Must be over 18, able to lift up to 50 lbs, have a valid Drivers License and reliable, insured transportation, and pass drug screen and criminal background check. Able to work outdoors in all types of weather. We are looking for a long-term employee. Experience with dogs is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. Position starts with learning the basics and cleaning. Then we will train the right person to work with the dogs. There are opportunities for upward advancement in position and pay. Holiday, P.M. and weekend shift pay rate is time and half. Hours are M-F 7:30 a.m.-12:00 (closed between Noon and 2:00) 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Hours and days vary week to week, depending on reservations. 32 to 40+ hours per week. Must be available to work some evenings from 8:00-9:30 and Holidays, Saturdays and/or Sundays, in 2-3 hour shifts. Casual dress code, Fun group of people to work with. No Drama. Position duties include, but are not limited to assisting the manager in daily operations, supervising group play and activities (after probationary period and learning the ropes), CLEANING (lots and lots of cleaning :-) feeding, watering, occasional bathing and walking dogs, more cleaning, and generally caring for the dogs and their environment, and maintaining accurate records.
