We are seeking a dedicated Dog Bather/Receptionist to join pet grooming facility. This role combines animal care with front desk responsibilities, providing excellent customer service to pet owners while ensuring the comfort and well-being of our canine clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, strong communication skills, ju Duties Bathing, grooming, and drying dogs of various sizes and breeds using pet grooming tools and techniques Assisting with animal restraint during grooming and veterinary procedures to ensure safety for pets and staff Providing exceptional customer service by greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and answering inquiries at the front desk Managing appointment bookings, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently using our scheduling software Handling pet care tasks such as feeding, walking, or administering basic animal care as needed Maintaining cleanliness of grooming areas and reception spaces to uphold hygiene standards Assisting staff with animal handling tasks when required, including kennel management and pet sitting duties Heavy lifting of animals or supplies as necessary to support daily operations Qualifications Prior experience in pet grooming, animal handling, or veterinary settings is highly desirable Knowledge of dog training, dog handling, animal restraint, and pet grooming techniques Experience working with animals in veterinary technician or assistant roles is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately, including heavy lifting of pets or equipment when needed Familiarity with kennel management or pet sitting is advantageous Animal care experience such as veterinary assistant or equine experience is beneficial but not required Reliable, detail-oriented, with a genuine passion for animals and their well-being This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment dedicated to animal health and happiness.
