Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our daycare facility. Your primary focus will be on the well-being of the dogs while ensuring excellent customer service to their owners. This position requires a love for animals and the ability to handle various breeds and temperaments. Duties Supervise and engage with dogs in playgroups, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Monitor dog behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent conflicts or injuries. Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility, including play areas, kennels, and feeding stations. Assist with feeding, administering medications, and providing basic care as needed. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior, health, and any concerns that may arise during their stay. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience for both dogs and their owners. Collaborate with team members to create a supportive environment for all staff and pets. Qualifications Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred (e.g., dog handling, veterinary assistant). Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Knowledge of basic animal care practices, including feeding, grooming, and health monitoring. Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments safely. Experience in veterinary settings or as a veterinary technician is a plus. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality care. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
