Job Description

The Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin (HSSW) is now hiring for our Intake team! Intake Assistants make up a team of dedicated individuals that work together to care for the pets of HSSW. They are responsible for processing all incoming animals and administering vaccines and medication to the animals as prescribed. They also help facilitate reunions between pet owners and lost pets by using Lost Reports, ID tags, and microchips to match pet and owner. Starting pay is $12.98/hour. Minimum 17 years old. We currently have one 26-hour/week part-time opening available. All Intake Assistants work an every-other weekend rotation.
