In this role you will take your experience with Dog handler and apply that to supervising multiple groups of dogs and their handlers . You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, and well-being of not just our dogs but your team as well. You'll be working from outside our play groups to support the needs of our Handlers while also running our front desk area. Ensuring all areas outside of the play groups are clean and comfortable for dogs and humans alike. This paid position is a great opportunity for those who have skills in animal handling, dog training, and customer service and would also like to see those skills grow in an environment of other like-minded individuals. Responsibilities Safely handle and limit dogs during daily activities. Maintain hygienic environments for animals by cleaning kennels, play groups, and office areas Monitoring dogs' behavior and the needs of Dog Handlers so they can ensure a safe environment for play. Managing reservations, phone calls and emails, feeding schedules and, veterinary information through our computer systems. While Providing excellent customer service with pet owners. Assist with animal care tasks including feeding, medication administration, and health monitoring Support team lifting activities when moving or transporting animals or equipment safely Qualifications Experience in pet sitting, or kennel management is a plus Knowledge of dog body language and animal handling skills are preferable Ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work comfortably and safely Strong understanding of animal limits, cleaning protocols, and animal care standards Moderate skills with computers.
