Harmony Pet Clinic is a locally, woman-owned veterinary hospital that also provides doggy daycare, boarding and grooming services for pets in our area. We have been conveniently located in Waukesha for the past 24 years. We are currently looking to add a Part-Time Pet Care Specialist to join our team of wonderful individuals. We pride ourselves in providing excellent care and treatment to all of our patients and amazing client service to all of their pet-parents. We have a culture of dedicated team members who are passionate about the care and safety of animals. Our Pet Care Specialists are instrumental in providing superior care to our boarding clients and pets. Playing with the dogs is obviously an important focus for this position, but it also includes ensuring a safe and clean environment for the pets during their visit. This position will require feeding and walking the pets, cleaning up after them, as well as providing enrichment opportunities and ensuring the animals are adapting well to their new environment. You will also be required to communicate with the pet-parents in understanding the needs of the pets while in our care. Typically, the shifts for this position are split into a morning shifts and afternoon shifts that are approximately 4-6 hours long. Morning shifts start as early as 6:30am and afternoon shifts can run as late as 7:00pm. We are looking for someone who:

• Has availability to work when the pets are here, this includes weekends and holidays
• Believes that pets are a part of the family and deserve a safe and fun environment to play and rest in while their pet-parents are away.
• Has a positive can-do attitude and likes to work as a team to provide the best care to customers and their pets
• Is a reliable and hard-working individual who is open to learning
• Experience working in a pet daycare or kennel environment is preferred but not required.
• Has reliable transportation -Is at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma (or equivalent) Candidates will only be considered if a resume have been received.
