Duties Safely handle and care for dogs and cats in a kennel or daycare setting, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Monitor animals' behavior, providing enrichment activities and basic training to promote positive behavior Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and grooming stations through regular sanitization and organization Assist with pet boarding by feeding, administering medications if needed, and providing companionship Support pet grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing to keep animals looking and feeling their best Engage with pet owners through excellent customer service, addressing questions and updating them on their pets' well-being Perform outdoor work such as cleaning outdoor play yards and runs to ensure a safe clean environment Requirements Prior experience is highly desirable Experience in , animal handling, or kennel work demonstrates your ability to care for animals responsibly Knowledge of animal behavior helps in managing various temperaments effectively Strong skills in animal restraint, pet grooming, cleaning, and sanitization are essential for maintaining a safe environment Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with pet owners and team members Outdoor work experience is preferred for tasks involving outdoor play areas or walks A genuine passion for animal care combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and cleanliness Ability to work weekends and holidays a requirement Embark on a rewarding journey caring for animals while honing your skills in a lively, supportive environment.
