The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and be committed to ensuring the well-being of our furry guests. This is a full-time position with the weekend being a split shift so an applicant in the Helena/Pelham/Alabaster area would be best. Duties
  • Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel
  • Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal areas
  • Monitor animal behavior for signs of distress or illness
  • Assist with bathing of pets as needed
  • Assist with animal handling when necessary
  • Ability to work in extreme heat/cold when running dogs out for bathroom breaks.
  • Ability to lift heavy dogs for bathing.
  • Must be willing to have an open flexibility when it comes to scheduling Experience
  • Previous experience in pet sitting, kennel work, or animal care is preferred but not required
Pay:
$12.50
  • $13.
50 per hour
