Looking for two mature, dedicated individuals who want to work with large breed rescue dogs. The shift is in the morning starting at 6:00. We are a non-profit organization. You will not be sitting behind a desk. You must be physically capable of lifting, 40 pounds or more, dealing with big dogs and all that goes along with that. Individuals that are good communicators and work well as a team. You must be organized and truly love dogs. The job is extremely rewarding and you go home tired but feeling like you've done something to enhance the lives of the rescue dogs in our care. Duties include but are not limited to: Feeding, cleaning kennels, keeping the shelter in order, getting the dogs out for play time, matching them up with play-buddies. Different types of enhancement activities for the dogs and doing dog introductions for dogs that have people interested in adoption. Giving medication when ordered and dealing with volunteers.
