Scottsdale, AZ - In Person Build a Career as a Professional Dog Groomer At Kontota Mobile Dog Grooming of Scottsdale , we provide one-on-one, stress-free luxury grooming in fully equipped Mercedes Sprinter vans. No crowded salons and no overbooking—just personalized care, professional service, and happy dogs and clients. We are looking for a Mobile Pet Spa Apprentice who is serious about building a long-term career as a professional dog groomer . Please apply only if you are interested in developing a career in dog grooming. This is not a temporary or part-time opportunity. Previous professional grooming experience is not required. We provide paid training and are looking for someone with the right attitude, reliability, work ethic, flexibility, and genuine interest in working with dogs. Veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and individuals with animal-care experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates coming from other professional backgrounds, including pharmacy, who are genuinely interested in transitioning into a long-term animal-care and grooming career are also welcome. What You'll Do Drive our fully equipped mobile grooming van to scheduled appointments Safely handle dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments Bathe, dry, brush, and assist with grooming services Learn professional dog grooming techniques through paid hands-on training Maintain a clean, organized, and professional mobile grooming environment Communicate professionally with pet owners Deliver excellent customer service and personalized care Develop the skills necessary to grow into a professional mobile dog groomer What We're Looking For A genuine desire to build a career as a professional dog groomer Comfortable and confident working with dogs Passion for animals and excellent customer service Reliable, responsible, punctual, and willing to learn Valid driver's license with a clean/safe driving record Comfortable driving a mobile grooming van Able to work full 10-12 hour days Available to work approximately 3-4 full days per week Flexible availability across all 7 days of the week, including weekdays and weekends as scheduling requires Dependable transportation to and from our Scottsdale garage Lives approximately 30 minutes or less from our Scottsdale location Comfortable working independently after completing training Looking for a long-term, full-time career opportunity Please note: We are not currently hiring for part-time positions. Schedule & Flexibility This is a full-time position requiring approximately 10-12 hour workdays, generally starting between 8:00-9:00 AM, approximately 3-4 days per week. Our scheduling needs can fall on any day of the week, including weekends. Please confirm whether you have flexible availability across all seven days of the week and describe any days, hours, or recurring commitments when you are unavailable. Please also let us know if you anticipate any changes to your availability in the foreseeable future. 6. Transportation & Commute Reliable transportation is required for commuting to and from our Scottsdale garage. To support punctuality and consistent scheduling, we prefer team members who live within approximately 30 minutes of our location. Please confirm that you have dependable transportation and can meet this commuting requirement. Pay:
