Dog Trainer / Evaluation Specialist (Alhambra Area)

About the Role We are looking for a motivated and coachable dog trainer based in or near Alhambra, CA to conduct in-store evaluations, lead private lessons, and recommend clients into structured training programs. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience, consistent client flow, and the opportunity to grow within a proven training system. Responsibilities Conduct dog behavior evaluations at a local pet store in Alhambra Identify behavior issues and clearly explain solutions to clients Recommend appropriate training programs (Private Lessons or Board & Train) Lead private lessons for enrolled clients Follow and apply the IQ Dog Training System Represent the brand professionally with clients Requirements Experience working with dogs (personal or professional) Strong communication skills and confidence with people Coachable and willing to follow a structured system Reliable and punctual Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Compensation Details Compensation is performance-based and includes: Pay per evaluation Pay per private lesson Commission for Board & Train referrals Top performers can earn significantly more based on performance.
