Apprentice Dog Trainer:

Our Dog Trainers are the backbone of the organization. Apprentice Dog Trainers work with a large variety of dogs everyday in a fast-paced environment, learning our renowned training techniques and assisting in the care of the dogs. All our Trainers have the opportunity to learn not only about basic obedience training but to participate in specialized Service Dog Training! Duties:

Working with a team to train dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments Assisting with the care of the dogs Speaking to clients regarding their dog's training Working with clients to enable them to continue training at home

Required:

Must be very comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments Ability to work well with others as a team Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision Great communication skills Excellent customer service skills Flexible schedule - available to work as early as 6am and as late as 11pm Holiday availability Have a working cell phone Have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation

Preferred:

Previous experience working with dogs, but we are happy to train the right candidate!

Rate of Pay:

Compensation starts at $17/hour and up depending on experience. Pay raises are based on reliability and ability to complete tasks efficiently, not on time spent working with us. So bring a good attitude and work ethic, and we are happy to increase pay correspondingly! This is also a great place to grow in skills and responsibilities.
