Love everything about cats? Turn your passion for cats into a rewarding career. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cat Care Specialist to provide exceptional care for cats in their own homes. This role is ideal for cat lovers who are responsible, reliable, and enjoy spending time with cats. As a Cat Care Specialist, you will be entrusted with the well-being of the cats in the home, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. Flexible hours. Looking for sitters who can serve the greater San Jose area including Saratoga, Cupertino, Los Gatos, as well as, Sunnyvale/Los Altos/Mountain View. Sitters will provide daily, in-home cat care visits to feed, monitor, socialize with, and pamper. Weekend and holiday work required, must be available on weekends, and must be available to work Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Must be dependable, responsible and communicative with a valid driver's license, smartphone and vehicle.
Requirements/Preferred Skills:
- Considerable amount of driving involved.
- Proven communication and client interaction skills are a must.
- Ability to work independently is necessary.
- Requires ability to lift and/or maneuver, bend/crouch, patience and calm demeanor, monitor and care for cats of various ages, medical needs and temperaments.
- Working knowledge of email, internet and smartphones needed.
- Excellent customer service skills both in person and written.
- Preference will be given to individuals with pet-care backgrounds, experience giving medications.
